Dr Atul Kumar

Assistant Professor

Department of Biological Sciences

IISER Bhopal

Atul is a crystallographer by training who loves to visualize biological pathways in their molecular depth. He has extensive experience of solving structures and decoding molecular mechanisms of various proteins across species, ranging from bacteria to humans. He is driven by how the knowledge of the structural and functional complexity of enzymes could be utilized to understand some of the devastating diseases and to engineer novel therapeutics.
